Since February 2014, Research Associate, Yale university, Department of Chemical Engineering May 2013, BSc in Materials Science & Engineering, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology May 2013, BSc in Chemistry, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology Oct. 2012-Feb. 2013, Research Assistant in the Bio-Inspired Surface Engineering and Bio-mineralization Lab, Department of Materials Science & Engineering, Technion. Our research was focused on bio-inspired crystalline surfaces based on thermally-deposited waxes . We studied chemical and structural tuning approaches of the wetting and icing properties of these biomimetic structures.

Zinc Oxide and Titanium Oxide Forests for Bulk Heterojunction Solar Cells Hydrothermal synthesis of zinc oxide (wurzite) and titanium oxide (rutile) nanorods arrays, templated by different block copolymers. We are interested optimizing control over the number density and the dimensions. High control over these parameters plays a significant role in the efficiency of the charge separation, and leads to optimal volume fraction of the active layer, resulting in better device efficiency. Colloidal Interactions of Colloidal Suspensions Investigation of the kinetics of specific surfactants adsorption on carbon black particles. This project also involves the design of an apparatus which will enable us to measure adsorption behavior more reliably. |
