My research interests focus on nano-scale science and technologies, in particular on molecular-based hybrid systems exhibiting new electrical, magnetic and/or optical properties at reduced dimensions. In particular, I have been involved in the fabrication and electrical transport characterization of various systems based on nano-objects such as multi-layered metallic nanowires, magnetic tunneling junctions and molecular junctions. Additionally, I could have the opportunity to work on thermal transport and Seebeck effect, magneto-resistive effects (AMR, GMR, TMR) and optical phenomena (UV/visible and Fourier transform IR spectroscopies). Finally, I enlarged my objectives towards application by developping electrical circuit designs based on electrostatic trapping and self-assembly philosophies. Interdisciplinary projects combining physics, chemistry and engineering provide original and challenging future developments. Thus they are of great scientific interest to me and I believe to the whole nano-science community.
