The 12th International Workshop on Oxide Electronics will take place
this year in the beautiful New England region of the United States,
overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The aim of the workshop
is to promote an international discussion of the progress in research
on
oxides, including basic physics and materials science issues, with a
focus
on the application of oxides to electronic devices.

after Wednesday morning, the group rate will be available for 3 days
before and after the Workshop dates on a SPACE-AVAILABLE BASIS.
To do so, please use the online reservation system, and RESERVE A
SUNDAY ARRIVAL AND WEDNESDAY DEPARTURE. THEN, NOTE IN THE
COMMENTS BOX LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE THIRD SCREEN that you are
interested in booking a room type (standard, superior, suite) for
additional dates. Please specify your desired room type and
additional dates. The hotel will then advise you of availability
for these extra dates. Because our Workshop dates are peak season on
Cape Cod, we encourgae you to make your guestroom reservation early --
as soon as possible -- in order to ensure that each of the Workshop
participants will be able to be housed at the Chatham Bars Inn. Thank

Directions
The nearest major airports are Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts (BOS) and T.F. Green Airport near Providence, Rhode Island (PVD). Both airports are 90-100 miles away (~2 hours) from Chatham Bars Inn. A small regional airport (Barnstable Municipal Airport) is located in Hyannis, about 20 miles away (~30 minutes).
If you plan to rent a car, the
hotel has indicated that the traffic and route are simpler if you
fly into Providence rather than Boston. The hotel website has driving

Bus service is available from both Logan (P&B Bus)
and
T.F. Green
(Bonanza
Bus Lines) to the town of Hyannis (the Hyannis transportation
depot). From Hyannis,

Cod Transit H2O
Line to the Chatham Rotary bus stop, but the hotel is another
half-mile
further (follow Seaview St. and turn right at Shore Rd).)
