Prof. Yeh receives two major awards YIP Award: Prof. Edmund Yeh, EE/CS, has won the Army Research Office (ARO) Young Investigator Program (YIP) Award for 2003. This award provides $150,000 in research grants over a three-year period. ITR Grant: Prof. Yeh has also received a National Science Foundation (NSF) Information Technology Research (ITR) grant jointly with Prof. Randall Berry of Northwestern University. The Yale portion of the grant provides $115,000 over a three-year period. Prof. Yeh will use these grants to develop a new integrated, cross-layer approach to efficient resource allocation in multi-hop wireless communication networks. |
