Environmental Engineering Graduate Students  Win Major Fellowships 

Jane Halverson, a first year graduate student in Environmental Engineering, has been awarded the prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Fellowship. Ms. Halverson, a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), will be working with Prof. Roger Ely.

Nathalie Tufenkji, a first year graduate student in Environmental Engineering, has been awarded a Graduate Fellowship by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) of Canada (the equivalent of the US NSF). Ms. Tufenkji, a graduate of McGill University, will be working with Prof. Menachem Elimelech.
