Prof. James Duncan named IEEE Fellow for contributions

 

IEEE Board of Directors has selected Prof. James Duncan,
Diagnostic Radiology and Electrical Engineering, IEEE Fellow.
This honor, conferred each year on less than 0.1% of the 352,000 
plus membership is extended to an individual who has "outstanding 
and extraordinary qualifications and experience in IEEE designated , 
fields and who has made important individual contributions to one  
or more of these fields." Prof. Duncan is cited for his contributions 
to medical image analysis and computer vision. Prof. Duncan s the 
Director of our Biomedical Engineering Program and its Director of
Undergraduate Studies.
