Yiorgos Makris, EE,
a Fellowship for 2004-2005. Junior Faculty
Fellowships in the
Natural Sciences are awarded to recognize the
outstanding
nature of the recipient's work and free him or
her from teaching
and other academic duties for an academic year,
so that they
may concentrate on research.

Foundation for $50,000 for a project to sustain
entrepreneurship

Holm,
into their family. Their older son, Nicholas
Owen, is
now two and a half.
