Dean Paul A. Fleury requests the pleasure of the company of our faculty, staff, and graduate students at the Faculty of Engineering HOLIDAY PARTY in Widdy's Restaurant at the Yale Golf Course, Wed., Dec. 12, 5:30-7:30 pm. Please bring your spouse or a guest to add to the enjoyment of the festivities. RSVP: 203/432-4222.

Out of order:
Starting Mon., Nov. 26, the Dunham elevator is being replaced; the job may take 2-3 months.

Mail overseas holiday mail & packages by Dec. 10:
We can assist the Post Office to get 200 million holiday letters, post cards, and packages to their overseas destinations for the holidays, if we remember:
 -Address must be in English,
 -Foreign postal codes precede city/town
-Country should be in CAPITAL letters and on the bottom line of the address.

Customs forms are required for items mailed to foreign countries and are available at local post offices.

What's RSVP
RSVP stands for "répondez, s'il vous plaît" (French) and means "please respond" to the hosts by calling to say that you are coming or that you are not coming (those who don't respond are considered impolite). Sometimes an invitation says "RSVP: Regrets only;" in that case you should call only if you can't come.
