basis of unusually impressive achievements in the past and
    exceptional promise for future accomplishment."

AYA Delegates to focus on Engineering:
The AYA Delegates' Assembly LXII (62nd), April 25-26,
which convenes alumni delegates from the U.S. and some foreign
countries, will focus (the first time ever) on Engineering and
the Sciences at Yale. AYA Delegates will be briefed in Davies
Auditorium about the Engineering vision and programs, speak
with Engineering students, see demonstrations, and visit labs.

More student hosts and guides needed:
A few more students are needed to guide AYA Assembly Delegates
through Engineering facilities Sat., April 26, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Sign up with Ms. Jane Boone, Coordinator of Educational Affairs,
<jane.boone@yale.edu> to come and wow Alumni Delegates
with your charm (and receive an Engineering t-shirt and a gift
    certificate to T.J. Deli).

Great "Bulldog Days" April 14 and 15:
Fifty to sixty pre-engineering students and parents crowded
around Engineering DUSs, student representatives, and
Ms. Jane Boone during the Academic Fair in Payne Whitney
Gym while the Engineering Student Council happily sold
Engineering t-shirts as souvenirs of the event.

Graduate students Tom Boone EE '03, Robert Koudelka EE '03,
and Jim Schuck AP '03 took more than 150 (!) interested students
and campus visitors on tours of Engineering laboratories.

Society of Women Engineers invites:
Our new SWE chapter invites all to spend an hour with alumna
Kathryn Wilder Guarini '94 BSEE, Ph.D. Stanford '97, now
Senior Researcher at IBM Watson Lab, Yorktown Heights, NY.
Mon., April 21, 4:00 pm, Becton Faculty Lounge. Refreshments.
