SPRING BREAK
No speakers this week.
Try something new:
The science humor magazine “Journal of Irreproducible
Results” invites entries to its "The Funniest Graph”
contest. The deadline is April Fools Day, April 1.
“Enter any form of graph or set of graphs, from any
branch of science, medicine, or engineering. Write-up
may range from a caption to an article. Contents need
not be true. Pseudonyms are welcome. If the graph has
already been published, please include the full citation.
If it was created by someone else, make the situation
clear.” Winners will be featured in the “Journal of
Irreproducible Results”, in anthologies, and on
<www.jir.com>
Winners will also receive a three-year
subscription to JIR and a JIR anthology.
Entries must be submitted on paper and mailed to:
JIR\Graph, 413 Poinsettia Avenue, San Mateo, CA 94403.
