2006 SIA University
Researcher Award:
Prof. T.P. Ma, EE, will accept the SIA Award at
the Semiconductor Industry Association Awards
Luncheon March 15 in Washington D.C. in
recognition of his contributions to semiconductor
technology.
Alfred P. Sloan Research
Fellow:
Prof. Ainissa Ramirez, ME, has been selected
as an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow (“this is
an extraordinarily competitive award, involving
nominations for most of the very best scientists
of your generation in the United States and
Canada,” Ralph E. Gomory, president of the
Foundation). The award includes $45,000 for
a two-year period.
