Elected to the National Academy of Engineering: 
    Prof. T.P. Ma, Raymond John Wean Professor of Electrical 
    Engineering and Chair of the Department of Electrical 
    Engineering, has been elected member of the National 
    Academy of Engineering in recognition of his contributions 
    to the development of CMOS gate dielectric technology. 
    Election to the National Academy of Engineering is among 
    the highest professional distinctions accorded an engineer.
