Prof. Ma accepts Grove award:
   Dec. 6, at the International Electron Devices
   Meeting, IEDM, in Washington, DC, Prof. T.P. Ma, EE,
   accepted from Dr. Cleon Anderson, President of IEEE,
   a IEEE Andrew Grove Award for outstanding contributions
   to solid-state devices and technology. The award
   includes a bronze medal, a certificate, and an honorarium.
 
Best student paper:
   Graduate student
Miaomiao Wang received the SISC
   Ed Nicollian Award at the 36th IEEE Semiconductor
   Interface Specialists Conference in Arlington, VA,
   held Dec. 1-3, for her paper "Tunneling Spectroscopy
   Study of Traps in MOS Structures with High-k Gate
   Dielectrics". Her Adviser was Prof. T.P. Ma.
