   The schedule is at < http://nursing.yale.edu/Community/mlk.html>

   CRISP:
   Help with mentoring/guidance/enrichment activities
   for K-12 students who will participate in the New
   Haven Science Fair. CRISP (Center for Research on
   Interface Structures and Phenomena) is part of NSF
   MRSEC at Yale. For more information contact
   Prof. Christine Broadbridge, CRISP Education Director,
   <christine.broadbridge@yale.edu>

Engineering Library learning session:
   "Introduction to Engineering and Computer Science
   Databases." This session will introduce you to
   many online databases for finding books, journal
   articles, and full-text papers.
   Fri., Jan. 20, 11:00 am.

Internships in Europe for undergraduates:
   Germany is offering RISE (Research Internships in
   Science & Engineering) internships at its top
   institutes (Max Planck, Leibniz, etc.) and universities.
   Knowledge of German is not required. Deadline: Feb. 1.

Paper journals will gradually be removed:
   Because most researchers rely on (library-funded)
   online journal subscriptions, the Engineering Library
   is embarking on an analysis of the use of our paper
   journal subscriptions (prior to moving to electronic-only
   access for almost all journals). Paper copies of
   selected journals will gradually be removed from the
   public area but will be available in the event of problems
   with online access. If you have questions, contact
   <andy.shimp@yale.edu>

Hee hee:
   What do you get from a pampered cow? Spoiled Milk.
   What lies at the bottom of the ocean and twitches?
                                  A Nervous Wreck. :)
