November 2002 Prof. Reed elected Fellow of the American Physical Society Prof. Mark Reed, Harold Hodgkinson Professor of Engineering and Applied Science, has been elected Fellow of the American Physical Society. Prof. Reed was chosen "For pioneering contributions to the investigation of electronic transport in quantum confined heterojunction devices, nanostructures and molecular scale systems." Not more than .5% of the members of the Society are elected Fellows. Prof. Reed will be inducted into the Society at the APS March meeting in Austin, TX, this coming spring. |
