Prof. Janet Pan, Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering and of Applied Physics, has been awarded an NSF Faculty Early Career Award (formerly the NSF Young Investigator Award) for her proposal "Fundamental Physics and Device Issues of Novel GaAS Thermophotovoltaic Cells." The funding is for five years.
