Prof. Mitch wins national award
 for dissertation


Prof. William Mitch
, Environmental Engineering, has won one of the two Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors (AEESP) 2004 Doctoral Dissertation Awards for his
Ph.D. dissertation. The award consists of a plaque and $1,000 for the honoree and $500 for the dissertation advisor, in this case, Prof. David Sedlak, University of California at Berkeley. 

Prof. Mitch's dissertation research focused on "Prevention of the Formation of N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) during Wastewater Chlorination."
