National Academy of Engineering elects Prof. Ma

Prof. T.P. Ma, Raymond John Wean Professor of Electrical Engineering and Chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering, was elected a member of the National Academy of Engineering in recognition of his contributions to the development of CMOS technology.

Prof. Ma is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and an Honorary Professor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is a recipient of several national professional awards and has served on technical program committees of numerous international conferences. He holds several patents, is co-editor of a book, and has contributed to book chapters and to more than 180 research papers.

Prof. Ma is also an avid skater and the Vice President of the Yale Figure Skating Club; his specialty is ice dancing!
