Dr. Hohenberg receives Lars Onsager Prize

Pierre Hohenberg, Deputy Provost for Science & Technology and Professor of Applied Physics, has won American Physical Society's 2003 Lars Onsager Prize "For contributions to a wide range of topics in statistical and condensed matter physics; including the theory of dynamic scaling close to critical points, the theory of pattern formation in nonequilibrium systems, and density functional theory."

The prize consists of a certificate and $15,000.
