Research Summary

MIS(metal-insulator-semiconductor) devices are the basic foundation for integrated circuits which are wildly used in academic research, industry and everyday life. New candidate materials such as GaN and GaAs are investigated. Those new materials will improve electronics performance, such as, increasing the operation speed, lowering the power consumption and increasing memory devices’ capacity. My research will concentrateson novel candidate materials for MIS structures.
