Muhammet Uncuer is a first year Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering.  He got his B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul after graduating from Sahinbey 19 Mayis High School in Gaziantep. He is now working on PZT Thin Films for energy harvesting devices in Koser Lab at Yale University. His research is about processing, dynamic behavior and material characterization of PZT materials and their integration into the MEMS devices.

Muhammet received Yale doctoral fellowship in 2006. He graduated from Bogazici University with high honor, ranking second in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a recipient of Excellence in Higher Education Award and scholarship due to success in education from Turkish Education Foundation (TEV).
