Ali Sener was born in Istanbul, Turkey on April 21, 1990. He is a rising senior at The Koc School, a private school placed in Istanbul. Ali is interested in math, shooting movies, computer sciences, and sports. Especially, he has a special passion for soccer. This is his second summer internship in Koser Lab. In the previous year, he worked on creating animations to liven up the experiments of the graduate students Ayse Rezzan Kose and Bozidar Marinkovic.

This year, he is working on creating animations for the experiment of the summer internship student Rohit Shankar and Postdoctoral Researcher Birgit Fischer. Moreover, he will be editing the Koser Lab website, adding his animations into it, and he will create some tutorials to teach other people how to make their own animations.
