Sponsored Engineering Linux Account

Please read all account policies before completing this form. Use this form to request a sponsored (paying) account on the Engineering Jove Linux cluster. These accounts are for graduate students, post-docs, faculty, and others working on sponsored research projects. A modest charge is assessed, which can be waived in some cases. If you are an undergraduate, or if you are participating in a class (as a student, instructor, or TA) that requires the Linux facilities, please sign up for an unsponsored account. Accounts are normally created with a 1-year automatic expiration date. Currently, accounts expire on August 30 of each year.

This form may also be used for account renewal.

By submitting the following web form, I declare that I qualify for an Engineering account under one or more of the following categories: I am an undergraduate majoring in Applied Physics, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical or Environmental Engineering, or Applied Mathematics. I am a graduate student, post-doc, or research associate in one of the above departments. I am a faculty member in one of the above departments. Account Type:	"Small" means less than 10 CPU hours per week. Select "Large" if you will have large-scale computing requirements or if you wish to use more than 1 CPU at a time.
Please give any further information.	Cost: $200 per year per user (small); $400 per year per user (large). Please send a "Request for Services" form to the EIT Office, DL 106, specifying the type of account requested, the dollar amount, and the PTAEO account number with your Business Manager's signature. Your account will be activated when the RFS is received.
