Prof. Corey O'Hern. We study the dynamics of particle jamming in systems of spherical particles interacting via soft- and hard-core potentials. We analyze relations between different definitions of jamming, behavior of the system near the jamming transition, and the role of particle jamming in glass-forming materials.
