Differential Waveform Measurements on the HP54602 Oscilloscope
(or "whatever happened to the (A-B) mode")
To perform mathematical functions between channels on the scope, use the button [+/-]
to bring up the funtion menu. It is located between the buttons selecting channel [1] and
channel [2].
- Differential Waveforms can be measured using the [1-2] function.
- To perform [2-1] instead, invert channel 1 from the channel [1] menu, and apply the [1+2] function.
- Be sure to adjust the volts/div and time base scales using the cursor / measurement knob.
