Using Reset Scope.exe:
This Program is on the Desktop and has two functions.
1. Reset Scope:
If the scope trace is "lost" or the scope appears to be in an unknown state and operating in an unexpected manner then launch "Reset Scope.exe"
Press "LOCAL"
"Computer Controlled" should appear on scope display.
Press "RESET" This will bring the scope back to a known condition with two traces and standard sweep settings. Cycling power on the scope WILL NOT clear out user settings.
2. Print Scope Waveform:
Printing from this program allows the user to label the axis and title the image.
Launch "Reset Scope.exe"
Press "LOCAL"
"Computer Controlled" should appear on scope display.
Press "ACQUIRE" then "PRINT" You can label the graph and the two traces before it prints.
NOTE: This Program
cannot be used if scope is in X-Y mode.__________________________________________
Using BenchLink XL 54600:
Scope waveforms can be imported directly to Word or Excel documents.
Make sure to run Word first if you have not logged on to the station before.
To import to Word documents:
1. From the desktop launch "Word 54600 Toolbar"
2. On the Agilent 54600 Scope toolbar select "connect to scope"
3. If GPIB0::7 is selected then close window. If not click on search and select GPIB0::7
4. To import an image place cursor where the image is to be inserted in the document and click the "Get Screen Image" icon on the Agilent toolbar. Select "place image at cursor location" Once the image is inserted it can be edited in Word.
Be sure to save your document before importing an image and after it is inserted and edited.

To save as *.bmp file:
Images can be temporarily saved to the D: drive but DO NOT save images locally on the workstation because you will loose your work. Always send them to your Pantheon account or copy to a floppy disk.

Using standard BenchLink:
Scope images can be printed.
To Print an image:
1. Under "Benchlink" in the start menu, select "HP Benchlink Scope"
2. Open the "Image" menu and select "New"
3. Under "files" use the "print"
