ENAS 323a - CREATIVITY AND NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Henry Bolanos. 323a-1: T 1.30-3.20 III; Not CR/D/F So (0) 323a-2: T 3.30-5.20 III; Not CR/D/F So (0) The aim of this course is to develop the skills for successfully creating and developing a new product through a hands-on approach to creativity and the product development process, by participation in a team. The goal of the required Final Presentations is to demonstrate to faculty and visitors, the team's knowledge of the new product development process from identifying a customer need, creating a product and then completing all the steps to actually put it on the market, including a working prototype, a business and marketing plan and an initial patent application. Given in the Fall semester with priority to Seniors.
