  • Bulldog I - Linux Cluster
    170 Dell PowerEdge 1955 nodes, each containing 2 dual core 3.0 Ghz Xeon 64 bit EM64T Intel cpus, for a total of 680 cores. Each node has 16 GB of RAM. The network is Gigabit ethernet. Bulldogi runs a high performance Lustre filesystem. It is managed via PBS.

  • Bulldog J - Linux Cluster
    128 compute nodes each have eight Intel Xeon cpu cores(E5440@2.83GHz) for a total of 1024 cores. Half of the nodes have 16 GB of RAM and half have 32GB of RAM. The nodes are equipped with infiniband high speed interconnects. A high speed file system called Lustre is provided for short term storage of large data sets. It is managed via PBS.
